Refugees who wish to study at one of the HERE AHEAD universities but do not have access to their educational documents can apply for plausibility check. Depending on the study aim – Bachelor or Master – and the personal situation the procedures may differ strongly. Therefore an individual and personal counselling ist the first important step.
HERE AHEAD is partner for the Erasmus+ Project REACT Refugees and Recognition
Webinar on results of the testing of the Toolkit for Recognition of Refugees' Qualifications
Within the frame of the Lisbon Convention and the resolution of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany from Dec. 3, 2015 the Academy HEAR AHEAD offers different methods of plausibility check.
In case of no or little previous studies the procedure should be restricted to standardized testing formats like TestAS and University Entrance Exam. Previous completed studies for admission to Master courses can be made plausible only via an expert interview. Recognition for the purpose of beeing accepted as an advanced student can only done through the faculty directly.
